Wednesday 14th May
Classic Car Breakfast Meet
Held at the Ely Hotel, near Blackwater, the Club Classic Car Breakfast Meet is a regular morning gathering offering classic car owners, enthusiasts, or anyone with a passing interest the opportunity to come together and socialise in an informal setting. There are no restrictions on marque or style, whether it’s a classic, modern classic, vintage, pre-war, veteran, future classic or those more unusual models – we welcome them all. This is a free event open to everyone, including non-members and whether you have a historic vehicle or not. The gathering runs between 9.30 – 11.30 am in the main car park – look for the Club flag. A range of breakfasts and drinks can be purchased separately from the venue, served between 7.00 – 11.00 am. Refer to the attached flyer for further details and future event dates – please feel free to forward this flyer on. Please note, although we welcome anyone who wishes to just turn up on the day, in order to work out how much of the car park to set aside the organisers would appreciate some advanced notice if possible please. Friday 16th May
Classic Car Gathering
Held at the Ball and Wicket public house, near Farnham, the Club classic car gathering is an informal evening event which offers owners, enthusiasts, or anyone with a passing interest, the opportunity to display, admire or discuss the world of heritage motoring. There are no restrictions on marque or style, whether it’s a classic, veteran, vintage, modern-classic, sports car, or more rarer and unusual models. We welcome cars, motorcycles, tractors, and small emergency, military, or commercial vehicles. This is a free event open to everyone, whether you have a classic vehicle or not. The gathering begins at 7.00 pm in the back car park – look for the Club flag. Please note, although we welcome anyone who wishes to just turn up on the day, in order to work out how much of the car park to set aside the organisers would appreciate some advanced notice if possible please. Drinks and food can be purchased separately from the venue, for those who wish to have a sit down meal then it is advisable to book a table in advance as Friday nights can be busy. Classics in the Park
The Woodley Carnival is a long-established family-friendly community show held in Woodford Park featuring a variety of local stalls, funfair, ringside displays, and entertainment, including a street procession with elaborate floats which tours the streets of Woodley before arriving on-site mid-afternoon. For many years the Hants & Berks has supported the Woodley Carnival by organising the classic car display, therefore we are looking for willing owners or enthusiasts (whether you are a Club member or not) to join us on the day with their vehicle for display. We also welcome local motor clubs who wish to have their own display, and members who wish to come along and help set up, marshal, or talk with the public. Why not bring a picnic or sample the on-site food stands, and have a pleasant day socialising with fellow enthusiasts. There are no restrictions on marque or style, whether it’s a classic, veteran, vintage, modern-classic, sport car, or more rarer and unusual models. We welcome cars, motorcycles, tractors, and small emergency, military, or light commercial vehicles. The show opens to the public at 12 noon. Display vehicles must arrive onsite between 9.30 am and 11.00 am, after which you may not be allowed in. The event finishes at 5.00 pm. Each display vehicle will receive up to two free tickets upon arrival. There will be a collection bucket for the Air Ambulance charity upon leaving the show. Please note, this is a pre-booked event and spaces are limited. If you are interested in forming part of the Hants & Berks Club car display, then please inform the Club contact before Sunday 8th June.
